Đun sôi hỗn hợp 100 ml nước, 2 muỗng đường, cà phê đen cho tan chảy hoàn toàn rồi cho 1/3 bột thạch vào khuấy nhanh tay.
Chia đều hỗn hợp ra cốc để cho nguội, rồi cho vào tủ lạnh khoảng 30 phút.
Tiếp theo, cho 100 ml nước, 100g sữa đặc, 1 muỗng canh đường trắng, bột cà phê vào đun sôi và cho 1/3 bột thạch vào đảo đều tay. Bắc ra ngoài cho nguội.
Sau đó chia đều hỗn hợp ra cốc vừa nãy và để vào tủ lạnh khoảng 30 phút.
Với lớp kem thạch thì đun sữa đặc còn lại, 100 ml nước, khuấy cùng với bột thạch còn lại. Trong một chén khác, đánh kem tươi và 1 muỗng canh đường với nhau rồi dần dần đổ hỗn hợp thạch vừa nấu vào.
Chờ cho nguội rồi cũng chia đều vào cốc và để trong tủ lạnh thêm 30 phút nữa. Cuối cùng, cho vài giọt cà phê đen hoặc hạt cà phê lên trang trí là xong.
